The TMS1610 programmable clock / timer P-MOS i.c. is a mask-programmed dedicated microcomputer requiring a time base input, memory, 4-digit 7-segment display, and a minimum of external components to form an extremely versatile timing device with the following features:
- 224 switching times per week cycle.
- 24-hour 7-day timer.
- 4 completely independent switch outputs.
- Switch output capable of directly interfacing to thyristor / triac drives.
- 4-digit, 7-segment display outputs to indicate real-time, turn-on-off times, and reset times.
- Individual outputs to drive day of week, switch, and status LEDs.
- Reset function to allow continual or manually initiated time looping from minutes up to one week.
- Period feature to automatically enter and display turn-off time if a specific ON period is required.
- Memory view facility.
- Memory delete allowing total specific switch or individual deletions for error correction and time alterations.
- Manual override of any output.
