This is a high speed 8-bit analogue to digital converter with an 8-channel multiplexer included on the front end. A half flash conversion technique gives a fast conversion rate of 2.5us per channel. The built-in track/hold function gives the capability to digitize full scale signals of up to 10kHz on all channels. Interface to microprocessors is simple using the standard CS RD signals to initiate the conversion and read the data from the three-state data outputs. This device is fabricated using an advanced linear compatible C-MOS process giving low power operation.
