Note

External current limiting is recommended to keep the charging current to the required levels.
After connecting the batteries to this module, the voltage at P+ and P- will probably be zero (depending on the state of charge of the batteries). Charge the batteries for some time, then check again. The output voltage should then be normal at around 7.4 volts.
Avoid excess solder when connecting the battery terminals to the module. Excess solder might short-circuit the tracks and permanently damage the module.
