The TBA800 is a monolithic audio power amplifier. The external cooling tabs enable 2.5 watts of output power to be achieved without an external heat sink and 5 watts of output power using a small area of the PC board copper as a heat sink. It is ideally suited as an audio amplifier in solid-state television receivers and other class B audio amplifier applications.
