PRACTICAL BATTERY OPTIONS A separate alkaline battery tray and large 750mAh rechargeable Ni-Cd are standard equipment with the HX260E. The Ni-Cd provides 8 hour operation between charges. Additionally, an easy to see flag on the LCD works like a dynamic 'Fuel Gauge' indicating battery time remaining.   ESSENTIAL OPERATIONAL FEATURES The HX260E has an enormous LCD window with tall, wide digits and bold information flags that are easy to read and identify. Both the LCD and keypad are backlit for best visibility at night. The HX260E has international channels plus one button access to Channels 9 and 16, a user selected preset key function is also available. User programmable scanning allows the user to scan any number or combination of channels. In addition the HX260E features Dual Watch, allowing the user to prioritize Ch16 while monitoring an additional channel.
