Bootlace Ferrules
Insulated crimp ferrules providing a neat end termination to multi-stranded
wires. The ferrules reduce the possibility of wire strands short circuiting
adjacent terminals and ensure a positive connection when used with terminal
blocks and captive terminals. The ferrules are manufactured from bright
tinned copper and polypropylene colour coded insulating sleeves.
The insulating sleeves overlap the wire insulation, thereby preventing
cross shorts from exposed areas of conductors. The ferrules are available
for cable sizes from 0.5mm² to 6.0mm² and the insulating sleeves accept
tri-rated and 2491X cables. Ferrules conform to DIN46228 parts 1 and 4.
