2.5 & 3 Watt wirewound resistors wound on a ceramic former with flame retardant silicone resin coating. Available also in Vitreous Enamel.

This construction combines good thermal chacteristics with high insulation resistance and offers good physical protection. The leads are long enough to allow both vertical or horizontal mounting.

200 Watt aluminium clad power resistors to MIL-R-18546C specifications
designed for direct heatsink mounting and ideal for restricted space applications.
The wire element is wound onto a high thermal conductivity ceramic former and transfer moulded into a hard anodised aluminium housing. The high temperature encapsulent used ensurs good humidity sealing and thermal conductivity together with an extremely high insulation resistance.
